and loves it!
We love our new house! So happy to be back in Austin.
Brixton had such a great time in Alabama with everyone. He said he misses MeeMaw and Papa!
He is loving his new room and says he "is happy".
Makes US happy to hear that.
We've been really missing Papa and Auntie Em lately. He cried when they left and everyone in a while sees "Papa's car" in the parking garage.
Wishing you guys were here to play more in the pool with us!
With the hottest summer on record here in 31 years, we've been using it almost every day!

Pic from the kiddie amusement park.
We've been having a fun weekend --this weekend we went to the Discovery Green and let Brix play on the playground and in the water sprinkler area--really cool downtown park.
Today we swam in the pool and went to Dave & Busters and played--Pretty great weekend.
Noelani & Jeremiah went to Germany for two weeks and sent Brixton the coolest lederhosen!
Can't wait to teach him the chicken dance!
We went to Galveston Island yesterday and cruised around together--today we are planning on going to lunch at an authentic Polish restaurant like the kind they have where Joe and Frank are from.
Happy Father's Day to Papa!
Love you so much and hope you have a great day ;)
We're always trying to find new puzzles for B--these take a lot more dexterity, but he is doing fantastic with them.
I wanted to mention that whenever we go through our parking gate, Brix says "Open Sesame!" which I'm guessing he got from Papa.
Pretty adorable!
His preschool had the Chica Chica Boom Boom tree, and he loves to re-inact the story with it., although he says, Chicken, Chicken Boom Boom! Which always makes me laugh.
His teacher said he was so smart and knew every page and would tell the story.
Thanks, Papa~
New dog....we had been "test driving" out Apollo, a 4 year old Boston Terrier for the last week, and he is such a calm, sweet, easy going dog. We miss the energy of a dog in the house and have for quite some time...may not be the perfect time to get one, but we just miss having a dog around. We just already enjoy him so much...even Brix takes his leash and tries to walk him around.
Well...more like 24 hours, but we had a really good time with lots of friends! the sad part is, we were so busy talking and playing with the kids, we hardly got any pictures!
oh well....next time!
before we get ready for day. Brix had a bad night sleeping (and so did mom) so we skipped pre-school this morning.
We wish he could have stayed longer!
Brix says he had "fun with Papa" a couple times--Miss you!
So, *sniff, sniff* Brixton is off to pre-school tomorrow and I've been geeking out on cute kid's bento box lunches online.
Fun Lunches kids who won't eat anything, will look at and maybe, possibly, eat!
Not that great artistically, but I didn't have a lot to work with tool wise.
Hope he enjoys and eats a little too!
We went to the Astros game last night and had a fantastic time!
The stadium was beautiful, new, big, had great food and we had amazing seats in fowl ball territory.
I think most people would say these seats were top notch, but because of all the fowl balls and the baby, we were literally ducking for cover all the time!
This was such a fun family night out.
It's old but Tina just found this in her spam folder! How hilarious is this??
Finn sleeping is too funny!
We really miss Tina +Finn!
Brixton was great at finding the easter eggs.
I have the difficult task of replacing the beloved starfish's common name with "sea star" because, well, the starfish is not a fish....this is a hard concept for a two year old!
Funny that children now probably have no idea what this is!
He LOVED the Children's Museum--it was such a blast.
Brix was great on the flight to Houston.
I guess it helps when you get new cool toys and have the IPad!
Decided to make a quick puzzle since all his puzzles have long become too easy and the next level is a bit too hard right now.
I think he liked the glue the best.
