playtime at the park
We found a clearance train table and went for it---after hours of frustration putting it together--we have a happy baby!
We went to the TV show Clean House yard sale a couple weekends back.
It's a show where they go to a really messy house, make them clean out and sell all their stuff and use the money to make the house nice.
This house was close and was supposed to be owned by some tiki-philes-so I had to go check it out--and of course try to get B some camera time!
We actually ended up getting filmed buying Brix his first tiki mug--so hopefully it will make it onto the show!!
Friday was my birthday and I had a nice day.
Had a playdate with a friend and her son in the morning.
Then went and got a haircut and color-two hours of pamper time with no baby! Wooho!
Jeremiah and Noelani came up for dinner, cake and scrabble.
All in all a very nice birthday.
Frank and Brixton got to see Joe for the first time in over a week!
We had a great visit and he got out a couple days later!
So nice to have him back at home!!
While Emily kept me company everyday at the hospital, Brix got to have some fun with his Papa!
This is such a great pic!
It's been sunny and fairly warm lately.
What a great way to spend the afternoon.
We went to check out a kiddie cafe, hear music and let Brixton play a bit.
He had a bunch of fun getting out and doing something new.

I've been thinking so much about Bruce the last few weeks and I am so incredibly happy that Brix and I were able to come visit for Thanksgiving and see him before his passing.
We had a great chat at the breakfast table one morning at Aunt Emily's house and I just remember him always being so charismatic and funny. I loved the way he would tell a story. It was always completely honest and would make me laugh.
I wish we would have been able to make it out there to pay our respects, but it just really bad timing here.
We love you all and miss youeven more in times of sorrow.
We made it safe and sound and are just trying to get organized and out of boxes. We love our neighborhood and have been trying to check out our surroundings every so often when we take a break from unpacking.
We had such a crazy few weeks that Christmas and his birthday were all but ignored :( We did manage to take a break from packing and cleaning to take him to Chuck E Cheese and let him have some fun.
We took a few photos and video~ I'll have to upload our phone pictures to share. We're still settling in, but we are loving our new neighborhood and will update soon.
