We had such a great time in Palm Springs!
The weather wasn't sun-scorching hot just yet and the hotel was fabulous!
Right when you drive up the hotel had flamingos, ponds, and water falls. Inside the lobby there was water and a boat landing for the gondola rides. Also in the lobby were about 7 large cages of exotic beautiful birds. In the ponds outside there were ducks, geese and fish. Plus four pools that Brixton just had a blast swimming in all day long.
There were four restaurants, shopping and a Starbucks (of course) on site, plus a nice looking golf course!
We had a really relaxing time there--all in all, a great little get-a-way!

Alice in Wonderland Party
My friend Tina had a fabulous Alice in Wonderland Tea Party today!
It was a huge success and everyone looked amazing.
Brixton and his friend Logan were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle "B" (no one really wanted to be "Dum") and Finn was the Mad Hatter.

Buck- we already miss you
Today, we laid to rest the best dog I've ever had . Buck was 6 and we'd had him since 8 weeks of age. He was always the kindest and most well natured companion. We are heavy-hearted and he will be missed.

Flower Fields 2010
We went to the beautiful Flower Fields in Carlsbad--The Ranunculus flowers are the main flowers here. They only bloom for 6-8 weeks, then it is over. Very pretty.
