23 Weeks Ultrasound

23 weeks baby belly!

Del Mar Races-- :)

We had a lovely day at the Del Mar Races on Sunday. The track is beautiful, we had great table seats this year, and even won a little $$ :)

20 weeks going to Richard Cheese :)

Some 20 week pics--This dress is very deceiving! I normally look much bigger than this! In fact, I went out and in the bathroom--two different times I got complimented on my dress, and I said --it's great for my belly--and neither had any idea I was preggers!

It's a BOY!!

I went in for cramping and found out it was a boy! I really wanted to have Joe with me, but since this was unplanned, he was at work. I had asked the tech to not tell me and she said she would write it in a note, so we could open it together and find out at the same time. I'm just so thrilled.
The cramping btw, is a large fibroid that so far is just causing discomfort to me, but no harm to the baby, thank goodness. More info on fibroids here....mine is as big as an orange! They will be monitoring it with the ultrasound every month so watch it.

I haven't quite "popped" yet, so I'm not looking so much pregnant as I need to lay off the twinkies! I think most women pop around 20 weeks, so another month to go,
and things start getting really exciting!

Doctor's Visit Week 15 day 3

We just got back from our OB appointment and everything was normal. The heartbeat was a steady 150. I gained 6lbs though! I didn't gain any weight last month, so he said I was doing fine on my weight, but try to eat healthy and not indulge too much. Yeah, right! J/K!

The good news is we have our appointment scheduled for the gender ultrasound. July 31st!
A week sooner than we thought, so we are both super excited.

12 Week Doctor Visit

We just got back from the second doctor's visit, the 12week visit.
We didn't get to do another ultrasound, (we don't get to do that again until August for the gender)
but we did get to hear the heartbeat via stethoscope. It was normal and strong. About 155-158 bpm. Which is normal. It was great hearing the heartbeat, we're even thinking about buying a stethoscope just to listen to the heartbeat at home.....All and all, a good visit :)

Status......9 weeks!

I can't wait to be farther along. I feel like I'm getting a bit of a tummy, but not enough to actually look pregnant, just to look like I'm gaining weight :(
I just can't wait to actually start to really "show" and find out the sex of the baby!
Still a couple months for that one. Time is just dragging!

8 week Sonogram

8 Week Appointment!

So, I found out I was preggers on April 15th. I called the doctor's office to schedule and appointment and they wouldn't schedule it for any earlier than 8 weeks. That is almost a month!
It's been driving me crazy waiting......I even bought a couple more HPT to take because I am so nervous.....well at least I only have *ugh* 11 days!

Positive Pregnancy Test!

Positive Pregnancy Test April 14th, 2008!

The weekend before was our trip to Vegas, and I was expecting my period. I got cramping and all the normal symptoms, Friday but no actual spotting. All weekend long, nothing. Finally Tuesday I went and bought the test.

Wow---I'm still in shock. A GOOD shock! We're really happy and have been wanting this news for a while now........
Now, on to educating myself because I have no idea what I'm doing.......:)
