he likes to SIT straight up in his swing now!
He is getting so much stronger --he pulls on that butterfly toy and sit up without using the back of the swing seat--he's getting so big!

mother's day 2009
I had an amazing first Mother's Day! We went to a Polynesian restaurant for a special brunch with a live hawaiian band, dancers and tiki carvers! It was really fun and afterwords we cruised down the Pacific Coast Highway to Newport Beach and Balboa Island. It turned out to be a sunny gorgeous day, even though it started out cold and overcast.
Joe & Brixton got me a gorgeous necklace with Brixton's name and stats engraved on it -front and back--it is so pretty and meaningful, I'll treasure it always.

new stroller 5/08/09
We just got his new "big boy" stroller! We went for a little stroll and while it rolls so much nicer and easier than the carrier stroller--it's really sad to not see his cute little face! I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for it yet...I may need to wait another month or five!

He's kinda sorta starting to use a bottle-he's not so much sucking as he is chewing on it---
In the morning I add a little oatmeal cereal to his milk and he's drinking it pretty well from a bottle--then in the afternoons we do thicker oatmeal cereal and he's doing great with that too!
Such a big boy!
