I can't believe I only have (well, hopefully) less than a month to go!
It truly seems like this pregnancy has taken forever!
Now we just need a name....!!

I still have to put up the curtains, get a bookshelf and figure out what wall art I want to do. I am thinking about putting up paper lanterns above the crib--quick mock up I made....

It's all coming together....

We got the car seat infant carrier delivered that Joe's work gave us a gift. Jocelyn and Chris also gave us a swing...and I finally broke down and bought an ugly baby glider..but hey, it's super comfy, matches and was cheap! Buck doesn't quite know what to think of the swing yet....Thanks again to all the Metaplace staff!

We got the crib up! And when I say "we", I mean Kirsten & I ...lol

We got the crib up! And when I say "we", I mean Kirsten & I ...I had the crib sitting in the box for over two weeks, and my bedding was being delivered yesterday and I just had to see it all together--I couldn't wait any longer! Kirsten came over and we put it all together. It was actually very simple and didn't take much time at all. Here are some pics!

Metaplace had a baby shower for Joe (and I)

Metaplace had a surprise baby shower for Joe (and I) last week!
They tried getting me out there, but I was so tired and didn't quite "get" what was going on!
It was so sweet of his company to think of us.
They also got us our carseat carrier, a beautiful blanket, and a bath tub toy holder.
I just want to thank everyone for their well wishes for us. It really means a lot.

Elections & Madonna!

Wow...two things I feel like I have been waiting for forever!
The election and Madonna concert! I hope both turn out the way I've been hoping for....
I'm also worried about the Prop 8 initiative...hoping that gets voted down as well.
I voted by absentee ballot over a week ago and I'm so glad I did, because it would not be comfortable standing in the long lines at this point in pregnancy!

I just got back from my 28 week appointment and everything looks great!
The baby is measuring perfect. The ultrasound tech always says how great his spine looks and this time we even saw hair on the back of his head!!
Dr. Shipp said he is in a perfect weight category...not too big or too small.

Double Digits!!

I'm down to 99 days till EDD :) So amazing! I know most people say the time has flown by, but really I don't feel like it has. It's seemed pretty dang slow and I feel like I still have along way to go till I get to meet my new lil' man. I can't wait!

Hopefully though, it will actually go by fast now because there is so much we still need to do!
